Barrelmaker Media is a research, writing and communications consultancy that provides editorial services and content to financial institutions, fintech companies, investors, agencies and publishers. It was founded by Jane Cooper, a former Financial Times journalist specialising in banking and financial technology - particularly cards, payments, cash management and transaction banking - who went on to hold a senior communications role in banking. With an academic background in social science - sociology, anthropology and psychology - she is also interested in money in all its forms.
